Controlled Substances

The federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and New Jersey Drug Control Unit (DCU) require all legitimate handlers of Controlled Substances (CS) to provide effective controls to guard against theft and diversion. A program has been established to assist university personnel with the application of government and university regulations as they pertain to non-human research at the university.
