  • Venus® Dogwood Flower tree
    • Distinguished by exceptionally large, profuse, large creamy white flowers (bracts) – 6+ inches in size
    • With Venus® expect abundant flowers that will almost completely cover the tree

    • Expect attractive glossy dark green leaves during the summer and a wonderful coloring of its leaves in the fall

    • Starlight® will produce a tree that is extremely healthy and vigorous
    • Has a reputation for good tolerance of drought conditions
    • Starlight® is noted for high resistance to the diseases powdery mildew and anthracnose. In fact, no insect or disease problems have been observed during the almost thirty years since the original hybrid tree was planted.
    • Plants of Starlight® grow vigorously and develop into an erect, uniformly wide, and densely branched tree.

  • Rutgers Aurora Dogwood flower
    • The flower heads have large flowers (bracts) that are velvety and heavily textured in appearance. The flowers are white and become creamy-white as they age.
    • Aurora® has a reputation as a heavy bloomer with a mass of flowers to appreciate
    • This variety is more spreading in growth habit than the other white varieties
    • Plants of Aurora® are very vigorous in growth and extremely hardy
    • At the peak of the bloom period, the flowers are so dense that very little of the foliage on the tree shows through
    • Aurora® trees are about 20 to 25 feet tall and 20 feet wide at 20 years of age
    • Aurora® has good resistance to the diseases powdery mildew and anthracnose

    • Stellar Pink® are known to be very vigorous growers
    • This variety is erect in growth habit and is more uniformly full in width than are trees of Kousa dogwood
    • The flower (bract) heads are very attractive with a blush pink color
    • Stellar Pink® will produce a very vigorous growing and hardy tree
    • Stellar Pink® trees are about 23 feet tall and 18 feet wide at 20 years of age

    • High yielding tree that produces medium size, round kernels that blanch well, making it suitable for a variety of confectionary and baked good applications as well as for direct eating especially when roasted.

    • Compact tree with a slightly spreading growth habit that reaches about two thirds the size of 'Raritan' at maturity.
    • Trees at 15 years can reach 15 feet tall.
    • Has notably dark green leaves that are slightly crinkled making it distinguishable from the other cultivars.
    • Carries an EFB resistance gene from the Spanish cultivar 'Ratoli' that has shown excellent protection from the causal fungus.

  • Rutgers Jumbo Habanero Peppers
    Rutgers' Jumbo Habanero is an open-pollinated pepper variety that was developed from a field cross between African and Mexican habanero peppers. The plant is bushy with mostly bifurcative branching, 30-32” tall and 40-50” wide, and very attractive at maturity with red ripe pendulous fruit. Ripe fruit is large and red with thick and firm wall, smooth and deeply corrugated skin.

    Rutgers' Pumpkin Habanero is an open-pollinated pepper variety that was developed from a field cross between African and Mexican habanero peppers. The plant is bushy with bifurcative branching, 30-36” tall and 38-49” wide, and very attractive at maturity with red ripe pendulous fruit. Ripe fruit is large and red with thick and firm wall, “unidentified flying object (UFO)” in shape and smooth glossy skin.
