The Office for Research (OfR) works with Rutgers innovators to evaluate the potential for a startup as a vehicle to bring innovations to the market. If a startup option is selected, the OfR's New Ventures team assists innovators with the planning and development that lead to a spin-out of the innovation. They provide mentoring, access to early-stage seed funding, support in obtaining dilutive/non-dilutive funding, assistance with product and business development, and connection to industry and potential business founders.
The New Jersey Innovation Hub at the New Jersey Health + Life Science Exchange (HELIX) will be an innovation center providing businesses, universities and researchers critical space to work, learn, experiment and collaborate.
