Biography
Melissa L. Matsil, J.D. is an accomplished legal and research administration professional, currently serving as Executive Director of Research Contract Services. She leads a team of experienced contract manager professionals who are responsible for driving $500M in research revenue to Rutgers University, cultivating strategic partnerships with external sponsors and exemplifying a culture of values-driven service to Rutgers research community. Melissa joined Rutgers University in 2010 following years of legal affairs experience in Fortune 100 companies. Drawing from that experience, she leads the contract management team that is grounded in integrity, tenacity, and purpose. Melissa resides in Hunterdon County with her incredible husband and beautiful twin daughters.
