Barbara LoDico

Barbara LoDico joins the HSPP as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Providence College, attended Johnson & Wales College of Continuing Education and matriculated in a master’s program in legal and regulatory studies at Montclair State University. Barbara holds the Certified IRB Professional (CIP) credential. She has spent more than 30 years working in research protections, sponsored programs and research ethics, having worked for the Department of Defense, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University, as well as, a federal contractor (HHS, FDA) and consultant. She also worked as a lead site reviewer for the National Council for Quality Assurance (NCQA) at VA sites seeking accreditation in human research protections. In 2020, Barbara began serving as a PRIM&R mentor.
