Biography

Tunisia Lipford is responsible for the negotiations of various contract and compliance duties for the Research Contract Services team. She is a subject matter expert in Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Master Agreements and Study Site Agreements. She is dedicated in her commitment to ensure each contract contains terms and conditions that comply with the principles of clinical contract construction, Rutgers’s standards, and legal/regulatory requirements. Tunisia currently serves on the Rutgers Research Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Culture team.

Prior to joining Rutgers through the merger, Tunisia was a Paralegal for several years in the Legal Management Department with University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She conducted legal research for case law, statutes and regulatory materials and processed and redlined agreements from draft to full execution.

Tunisia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University.

In her free time, Tunisia enjoys exercising, crocheting, watching period piece films, and spending time with her family and friends.
