Yong Zhang

Yong Zhang joined the Rutgers licensing team in 2015. As a Licensing Manager, he is responsible for the evaluation, protection, and commercialization of many Rutgers inventions in the field of life sciences. Yong received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2004 and was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Prior to joining Rutgers Office for Research, he served as a Licensing Associate in the Office of Technology Transfer at the University of Idaho. Yong is a patent agent registered to practice before the USPTO.
