Alex Turo

Alex Turo is a Licensing Manager at Innovation Ventures of Rutgers University. Previously, Alex worked on the business development team of Columbia Technology Ventures, where in addition to licensing-related tasks he also managed a venture-backed accelerator to support researcher-driven entrepreneurialism. Alex completed his doctorate at The Ohio State University where he studied molecular biology and conducted research in infectious disease, and he also worked as a Licensing fellow at the OSU Office of Innovation and Economic Development. He has also been an instructor in Intellectual Property classes for the business schools at both Rutgers University and The Ohio State University.
