About Us
The mission of the Genome Editing Shared Resource (GESR) at Rutgers is to provide expertise and assistance in the development and production of genetically modified mouse models that can serve as in vivo models for addressing a wide variety of biological questions.
GESR was established in 2016 and is now a university core facility led by Animal Care under Office for Research. It also functions as an NCI-designated cancer center resource with joint scientific and administrative/fiscal oversight with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
