Ka Chun (Lin) Tong

Lin joined Innovation Ventures in the Intellectual Property department as a Patent Information Specialist in April 2021. Previously, she worked at Rutgers School of Graduate Studies as an administrative professional for six months.

Lin holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Before joining Rutgers, she worked in the music publishing industry at ARC Music Corporation and Sunflower Entertainment Co., Inc. for over 20 years. During that time, Lin was the Manager of Royalties and eventually became the Director of Royalties.

Lin will primarily be responsible for securing original and electronic formal documents (such as Assignments, Declarations, Powers of Attorney, Notices of Inventions, Affidavits, etc.). She will also be communicating with inventors and law firms on behalf of Innovation Ventures.
